What’s Coming Up, Thanksgiving 2010
Posted on November 22, 2010 | 3 Comments
Thanksgiving is a wonderful concept — a yearly celebration often spent with friends and family to be thankful for having food on the table. As someone that enjoys preparing meals from scratch, it’s one of my most favored holidays.
This Thanksgiving, we’re going to put together many of our classic favorites and one new dish inspired by Chef Chloe:
- Mashed potatoes (potatoes, vegan butter, cream cheese, salt & pepper)
- Vegan butterflake rolls
- Celery and onion herb-seasoned stuffing
- Savory mushroom gravy
- Fresh cranberry sauce
- Chef Chloe’s harvest-stuffed Portobello mushrooms
Just looking over the meal plan, I’m already really excited!
Got some favorites of your own planned for the dinner table? I’d love to hear your meal plan for Thanksgiving 2010! For those of you who are celebrating – happy holidays!

I’ve become a huge fan of mashed cauliflower and mashed winter squash! Roasted Brussels sprouts will also be making an appearance, I think.

Mashed cauliflower and mashed winter squash sound like they’d fit perfectly on the table! I was lucky to have some roasted Brussels sprouts today – they’re so good. I’ll have to keep an eye on your blog to see what you end up having 🙂

I just got a brussel sprout salad recipe that was great so I’m thinking of making that. And some sweet potatoes but not sure how yet.
