Sweet & Spicy Cranberry Tomato Salsa
Posted on December 3, 2010 | 2 Comments
Sweet & spicy cranberry tomato salsa is one of my new favorite things. The sweetness and tartness of the cranberries brings a wonderful twist to spicy and salty salsa.
Ingredients
4 parts medium heat tomato salsa
1 part cooled, prepared cranberries (the type you prepare with whole cranberries, sugar and water)
Method
Prepare cranberries (I use the 12 oz. cranberries, 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar recipe). This salsa recipe is perfect for leftover cranberries. Roughly stir prepared cranberries into tomato salsa, adjusting salsa and cranberries to taste.
Notes
A jar of Pace picante sauce has worked time and time again, but don’t let that stop you from trying this with your own homemade salsa.

I love this idea! I’m cranberry-crazy but I’ve gotten burned out on a lot of traditional preparations. This is a great twist. I can’t wait to try it!

I’m on a cranberry kick right now, too! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂
